ESUMC Music Programs

Chancel Choir
The choir is open to all who wish to participate from older youth to adults. The choir sings Sunday for the Traditional Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. and at special programs throughout the year.

Choir practice is on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel.

Kairos Band
This band leads us in worship at the 9:00 a.m. services, and about once a month in summer. It is made up of church members. The Kairos Band defines its meaning as "The holy moment when lives are grounded, spirits are lifted to God, and we are empowered to serve God and others".

Practice for the Kairos Band is on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. New players are always welcome. If you are interested in singing or playing with us, come to practice, or contact the music director, Eileen, through the church office at 510-223-0790.

Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir is open to all who wish to participate, from youth through adults. No musical experience is necessary - you do not have to read music to play! The Handbell Choir plays for both the Contemporary and Traditional Worship Services on special occasions throughout the year.

Rehearsals are held Mondays at 7:15 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
